Oral communications

Oral communications are the central element of ISMS and associated events. Therefore, some basic rules are needed so that presenting sessions could proceed efficiently. Regular oral communications must be 15 minutes each, and speakers are requested to adjust their presentation time to 12 minutes so that there is a reasonable time for questions and comments. The language of the slides should be English, whereas the speaker can choose English (recommended) or Spanish as language of the presentation itself.

Each session will have a moderator who will control the timing of the speakers and let them know a few minutes ahead when they should conclude the presentation. The moderator will also be in charge of giving way to the questions or comments by the attendees.

Posters

Posters will be placed in specific spaces during the indicated timeframe. Its dimensions will not exceed 90 cm wide by 120 cm high. At least one of the authors must be present next to the poster during the corresponding session. The language of the posters should be English.

Rules for abstracts

Please download the template from the list of events below according to your choice, and then write your abstract on it and proceed with submission. You should download and complete only the template of the event to which you want to submit the abstract:

ISMS: ISMS 2020 abstract template

SIQUIMAR: SIQUIMAR 2020 abstract template

BAMAR: BAMAR 2020 abstract template

REMAR: REMAR 2020 abstract template

The template must be sent duly completed before March 15, 2020 (updated) to ease the review process and the selection of communications by the Scientific Committee of the selected event or events. Please read the instructions in each template.

Very important, you must name your abstract in that way: author surname+author forename_abstract_poster/oral, the later according to your choice for poster or oral communication. The language of the abstracts must be English.

Once the template is completed, you must fill in the form that will appear in a new window by clicking on the “Send abstracts” button (below) and attach the file in the “Attachments” field. It is very important in the “Event” field to select the event to which the abstract is submitted. After filling out the form and attaching the file you must press the “Create ticket” button.

A maximum of 6 abstracts per registration is accepted. Of these 6, only a maximum of 2 can be sent to a given event; for example: 2 abstracts to ISMS, 2 abstracts to SIQUIMAR and 2 abstracts to BAMAR. In case you wish to send more, you should pay a new registration fee.
