Live events program

In a few days we have our appointment with ISMS 2020, SIQUIMAR 2020, BAMAR 2020 and REMAR 2020. We are now pleased to attach the live events program. The opening ceremony, the keynote talks and the invited talk, jointly with the students’ encounters with keynote speakers will take place live by streaming according the time schedule in the attachment.


The streaming platform that we are going to use will be ZOOM Meeting and ZOOM Video Webinar. The access link to each event will be available on the ISMS online web, where access to all resources and tools will be. 


Each registered participant will receive next Tuesday the 30th of June an automatic e-mail with his/her user name and password to access to our platform Please, watch your mailbox!


We want to remind that all communications will be available on video (oral communications) or JPG (poster communications, eventually with flash video presentations) to access whenever more convenient to each of you. We also want to remind that, besides running the congress on the 1rst, 2nd and 3rd of July, the web platform will stay open for access at least until the 17th of July. In that way you will not miss anything of your interest and get the maximum return from ISMS 2020 online.


Virtual Special Issue in the journal Science of the Total Enviroment STOTEN


The publication of a virtual special issue (VSI) in the journal Science of the Total Environment, opened to communications from SIQUIMAR, ISMS, BAMAR and REMAR, is being organized.

Welcome! ISMS online!


The ISMS (International Symposium on Marine Sciences) is the most important event for Marine Sciences in the Spanish world. Promoted by the Assembly of Deans of Marine Sciences and by the universities in Spain forming such Assembly, it has been held every two years since 2007. ISMS also is a convenient umbrella for more focused scientific events.

The 7th edition corresponding to this 2020 was to be held in Barcelona, ​​until the COVID-19 pandemic changed our world. With bravery and innovative spirit, we launched without fear to the online celebration of this edition, keeping the same dates.

In this edition 4 international reference events will be held: ISMS 2020, SIQUIMAR 2020, the REMAR 2020 Workshop and the BAMAR 2020 Workshop.
