REFUND POLICY ON THE OCCASION OF THE DIGITAL CONVERSION OF THE VII INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON MARINE SCIENCES ISMS 2020 DUE TO THE SANITARY SITUATION DERIVED FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

1.- Online celebration of the VII Interntional Symposium on Marine Sciences ISMS 2020

Due to the general situation derived from the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizing committee of the International Symposium on Marine Science ISMS 2020 has decided to hold the VII Edition of the symposium in an online format, maintaining the foreseen dates (July 1, 2 and 3 of 2020).

 

The new online format of the symposium represents an opportunity to innovate formats, to participate more actively than ever, and all without the need for travel. We will keep you informed about the main news of the online celebration here: Neither cancelled nor postponed… It’s time to innovate!

 

2.- Validity of registrations already made and online rate

Registrations already made, either through the web or requested by administrative payment will be fully valid for the new online modality of the symposium.

 

The rates of this online modality of the ISMS correspond to the previous rates in “early” mode, and we proceed to eliminate the “normal and late” modalities.

 

3.- Transfer of registration in case of non-adaptation to the new format

In the event that a registered person may not be able or is not interested in participating in the new online modality, he / she may transfer his / her registration to another person. Any person may assign his/her registration to another person who wishes to participate and who has not yet formalized the registration, be it a student or a professional..

4.- Request for refund of the registration fee.

In the event that a registered person may not able or is not interested in participating in the new online modality and does not wish to transfer his / her registration to another person, he / she may request the refund of the registration, under the following conditions:

Student registrations: 95% refund of the amount (5% retention for management and evolution expenses)
Professional registrations: 85% refund of the amount (15% retention for management and evolution expenses)
– Registration for accommodation and intensive courses: 100% refund of the amount.

Important: refunds will only be made to the account of origin of the payment, and to the same natural or legal person. In no case will refunds be paid for administrative payments in privately owned accounts, or vice versa. The requested refunds will be ordered within a maximum period of 3 months.

 

5.- Cancellation of registration and transfer of the amount to the organization.

In the event that a registered person may not be able or is not interested in participating in the new online modality and wishes to cancel his/her registration by transferring the amount of his/her registration to the organization, he/she may do so through the following form: Registration cession form
